To fight against these crimes of honour, former journalist Sanjay Sachdev has created the "Love Commandos", a hotline of a 2000 voluteers, giving advice, legal counselling and helping the young lovers to escape the violence of their families and getting married. But secrecy is an issue for the Love Commandos, as sometimes, the police itself will help the families. Nevertheless, the volunteers of the Love Commandos still believe that they can change the indian society and that the barbaric crimes of honour will soon be something of the past...
