April 2009. For the past 5 years, the Central Methodist Church in Johannesburg had become the last refuge for hundreds of zimbabweans who fled their country. Completely left out by the authorities, and afraid of the local population since may 2008 and the attacks against migrants, the refugees of Central Church try to survive nevertheless.

In January 2010, the bishop Paul Verryn has been suspended by his hierarchy. The fate of the refugees is still in question.
